Amanda and I are honored to share the stage with my good friend, John Gerdy this weekend to celebrate his new book release titled "Lights on Lancaster".  The book release will be at the Ware Center on Friday, November 3rd, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.  This event will have other essayists from the book, some panelists from our city, and a performance by Amanda and I.

We will be performing the second part of the "Chaconne Emancipated" featuring poetry by Assata Shakur, a former Black Panther. Click on the link below to check out a video promo of the "Chaconne  Emancipated".

The event is free and it will also be a part of November's first friday festivities in Lancaster City.  Come out and support the local arts!
