Spring is Here!

It’s time to get outside!

Spring is finally here, and our yard is in bloom.

I’ve been loving starting my days outside– playing with my dog Jessie.

This month I’m excited to also be performing outside –almost every weekend.

For example on Sunday April 16, I’m going to be playing an unusual concert at Buchanan Park, featuring the music of Terry Riley. Also, MFE Strings is celebrating a family earth week with a book party at Zoetropolis. You can check out these events on my website.

I’m also excited to announce the Jamanis Project upcoming concert Music and Poetry for the Earth!

We are going to take flight with music inspired by my dog Jake and the poetry of Mary Oliver.

Please check out this 30 second rehearsal video with African Dun-Dun player Geri McCritty and guitarist Mark Marifiotti.

You’ll get a flavor of the energy that flows when you put a violin right beside the deep bass of the drum and a fearless improviser.

You can reserve your seat for the concert on eventbrite.

It’s free and family friendly. You can even bring your dog!

All my best,

Michael

P.S.--We are going to present an online version of the concert on May 7. So save the date if you can’t travel to Lancaster.
