I am excited to premiere new works by Richard Field in 2024. We will be releasing two violin sonatas and a piano trio. Richard's music is an eclectic blend of styles, with classical roots with elements of jazz, folk and rock. It is an exciting exploration into a new frontier for me. The orchestration creates unique challenges that are expanding my approach to the violin.

What is Breathing With Bach?

A 14-Track album comprised of instrumental improvisation, and spoken word, and the music of J.S. Bach!

I have always enjoyed playing and teaching the Bach solo works for the violin.

About a year ago I decided to do a deep dive on some of my favorite slower movements.

Why?

We were in quarantine.

Through this questionable time, these works were providing solace, comfort, wholeness- a way to go deep into my soul.
